XOEye Technologies specializes in the design and manufacturing of industrial-grade HD recording and streaming eyewear for frontline employees in manufacturing, industrial and other sectors.

The company has launched its latest product, XOne, which can capture and stream high fidelity audio and visual content, enabling first person point-of-view (POV) workplace collaboration in real time.

The product was unveiled at the recently concluded 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show. XOEye also showcased its Vision Runtime, XOLinux operating system and Vision cloud-based software suite for device, user and software management.

The new wearable technology enables professionals to work and collaborate remotely by offering a practical telepresence solution that allows them to perform technical operations in the field alongside remote teams and management.

XOne eyewear and software suite allows for a shared, hands-on telepresence experience in real time enabling workers to perform and share manual operations, employee training, diagnostics and quality control operations with remote teams from virtually any environment.

The industrial-grade POV eyewear features a sleek, robust form factor, along with safety-grade plastic/glass. It comes with prescription lenses and a 5 mega pixel camera with options to record HD video locally. It allows live streaming for real time sharing while capturing still photos for data logging.

XOne also includes microphones and speakers for two-way audio communication and collaboration. It comes with a suite of sensors, including gyroscope and accelerometer for data measurement. It uses rich APIs available in SDK package.

The solution is available as cloud hosted device and service management suite allowing users to organize and manage the content created and then turn that data into actionable intelligence.

XOEye is also demonstrating benefits and market applications of the XOne glasses and software solutions at Eureka Park Tech Zone.

Aaron Salow, CEO XOEye Technologies, said, "There are myriad applications for this technology, and internally our focus is on creating highly targeted solutions for key industrial segments like IT, field services, and manufacturing. We're also aggressively looking for entrepreneurs, visionaries, developers and partners to pursue other markets, which is why we are actively moving forward with our open API and our developer portal.”

XOne eyewear will be available in Q2 2014, the company said.
