As an established “do it yourself” platform to make iPhone (News - Alert)/Android apps, iBuildApp has started an online community where users will be able to share tips and tricks related to various mobile apps.

With the addition of five new templates, users without any coding skills can easily and freely build their own iPhone app online to promote any product, service or brand. Members of the online community can actively participate by posting project ideas, sharing and selling designs as well as provide feedback and reviews. A catalog of apps and programming portfolios can also be maintained within the web platform.

Other than iPhone, the platform also shows support for other smartphone devices such as the Android, BlackBerry (News - Alert), iPad, Android-Galaxy, WinMobile and Symbian. In a release, Rafael Soultanov said, “Creating a mobile app with iBuildapp is absolutely free. You can have an app published within minutes. The Publication Tool allows individuals, businesses and corporations to create customize apps and manage their own iPhone/iPad Applications online.”

As per the eMarketer’s statistics, smartphones are owned by an estimated 73.3 million people in the United States. Furthermore, Ask.com and Harris Interactive (News - Alert) study found that at least one app gets downloaded by almost 70 percent of smartphone users.

The five new templates developed by iBuildApp include Small Business, Musician, E-book, Shop and Healthcare. Using the small business template, businesses can reach on-the-go customers by developing a mobile version of an 8-page website with call or email features, directions as well as contact page. To promote musicians and bands, the 9-pages musician app template includes features such as music gallery, tour lists, photo gallery, blog entries, and click to follow on Twitter. The e-book template includes an author page, blog RSS feed as well as links to social media websites. By making use of the shop app, users can easily browse individual items based on photos, description and prices using PayPal (News - Alert) enables secure transactions. The 6-pages healthcare template helps promote healthcare professional services.

Moving forward, iBuildApp plans to expand its self-serve Web platform to include online publishing options for newspapers, magazines, books, and self-publishing. Hosting over 2,000 mobile apps from 100-plus different countries, iBuildApp platform helps businesses build and optimize their mobile presence for all smartphone devices in a cost-effective manner.
