Jobs2web Bridges Distance Between Recruiters and Job Seekers

Job portals have now become mobile since Jobs2web has changed online recruiting by leveraging interactive technology and the social Web to help companies find better talent faster and at a fraction of the cost. It unveiled a new product release that enables its clients to focus on finding talent faster.

The Jobs2web-powered career site that is optimized for the iPhone, Android (News - Alert) and BlackBerry at no additional cost enables its clients to turn on a mobile device-optimized version that is an integral part of its award-winning Recruitment Marketing Platform.

According to recent Gartner (News - Alert) research, by the year 2013, mobile phones are slated to overtake PCs as the most common Web devices. 

Ken Holec, CEO of Jobs2web said that with more and more people using smartphones and other mobile devices to search job openings, mobile optimization became rather crucial, and it made perfect sense to offer the capability to clients in a manner that didn't create additional overheads. Helping clients recruit better was something that Jobs2web was committed to.

As soon as mobile users start typing a URL into the mobile device's browser, Jobs2web platform identifies that it is a mobile device and redirects them to something that has been expressly designed for such devices.

Candidate traffic data and Talent Community membership are tracked with other candidate records via the Jobs2web Recruiting Dashboard, which enables clients to monitor overall effectiveness and understand from where their best candidates emanate.

Holec said that the current trend indicated that at least in some industries, more than one third of all recruiters surveyed believed that mobile career sites would be the recruiting strategy for the immediate future.

In addition, Holec was keen to make the mobile job search experience useful in helping clients to accelerate the whole process of identifying talent quickly.
